Track Shoes, The Crawler Transporter #1

NASA's two Crawler Transporters have giant tracks, or treads, that move them, and their space vehicle and mobile launch pad cargo, along a track from the VAB (Vehicle Assembly Building) to the launch pad. Each Crawler has eight treads, two per corner, with each tread containing 57 "shoes." Each shoe is 7.5 feet long and 1.5 feet wide and weighs 2,100 pounds. Watch the fingers and toes...!
